Posted on July 2024

In this first of two refreshes of this content modelling enhancement, we will focus on enabling the configuration of a combined content selector which allows content editors to select from multiple content types within the selector. This first refresh is focused on delivering capability that will more readily enable migrations from earlier versions of Kentico.

We will enable customers to:

  • get web page item data when using content query to get linked items.

  • directly use content query to retrieve web pages with web page data and reusable content items in one query.

  • retrieve absolute URL since there can be web pages from multiple channels.

  • work with combination of reusable content items and web pages in code within this refresh migrate the data and set them directly in the DB. Being able to select website types and web pages from within the UI will be delivered within the second refresh (Nov 2024).
